MP backs biodiesel tax break project

Liberal Democrat MP Andrew George is backing a project to keep tax breaks for who produce biodiesel.
Producers converting cooking oil into biodiesel presently benefit from a 20p differential but that is because of end next April.
The St Ives MP, who leads the Lib Dem Environment Team, has been satisfying with the UK sustainable biodiesel alliance.
Mr George stated "a number of small services in Cornwall presently generate income from utilized cooking oil".
He included: "In order to be able to get this type of industry going it does need simply a bit of lift which is available in the kind of tax inescapable."
Biodiesel is a blend of conventional diesel, rapeseed and veggie oils.
